As most of you regulars know who visit my real estate site, I try really hard take advantage of every opportunity to volunteer for a great cause in my community, and most of the time, I come out of it having helped many underprivileged individuals.
Well, this time, I am certain I benefited and learned more from the experience than those for whom I came out to see.
For one day, I got to meet and work with some of the most inspiring people I’ve ever met. Read the full story I posted here>>
Lila is the author, owner and real estate agent behind the successful real estate business and blog, LilaKeimRealEstate. She and her husband, Bob, together single-handedly own and operate AmeliaConcierges.
Just a friendly reminder that Bob, owner and manager of Amelia Concierges, took a little time out of his busy schedule to personally represent our great company at the Amelia Island Home & Patio Show earlier this month.
Don’t you just love our beautiful new banner? (Fast Signs of Amelia Island was very quick, very professional and gave us a discount just for buying a banner advertisement for the Amelia Island Blues Festival, a 501(c)3 with a rockin’ cause! What a great deal!) =)
Ask the Readers: Did you see Bob at the show?
I’ve booked quite a few private home showings around the Amelia Island FL area for this weekend. This had me thinking: I should remind all our visitors and event-goers that this weekend would be a great opportunity to check out the local real estate.
Take Advantage of the Opportunity & Book a Home Showing While You’re Here!
Here are a few examples of beautiful homes currently on the market:

Here’s why and how you should Book a Showing today, compliments of LilaKeimRealEstate:
As thousands of people from across the world prepare to embark on Amelia Island, FL, March 11-13, for the 2011 Concours D’Elegance, one of the world’s largest classic and antique car shows, many are also preparing to look or purchase a vacation or second home.
(If you have never thought about buying a home on Amelia Island prior to planning your trip to the car show, I have feeling you will before you leave. :))
Amelia Island, FL is one of Florida’s (some say the east coast’s) best kept secrets with nationally recognized, remarkable natural beauty, glistening sea shores and soft sandy beaches. For those who love golf, tennis, art, festivals, and all water sports, Amelia Island is the place to live. I am already scheduling Concours D’Elegance visitors for private home showings. Please contact me to schedule your home visits.
Note: Time slots are still available for Home Showings this weekend during Concours D’Elegance (March 11-13, 2011). Take note, showings are booked on a first come, first serve basis!

Update! As my readers know, I have a big heart for charities. So, to my surprise and delight, I was just informed that the Amelia Island Concours D’Elegance is a 501(c)3 charity, with Community Hospice of Northeast Florida and the Spina Bifida Association of Florida at Jacksonville (SBFJ) as the two main beneficiaries! Go here for the full list of affiliated charities. I thought you’d like to hear news about how this luxurious event is actually helping those in need.

The entire economy was looking at how retail would perform over the Holiday Season. That’s how central retail operates in the economy. Retail therapy therefore could be said to be a ‘service done to the whole business world and the world economics‘, for it is really mostly the females that keep the retailers on the Main Street going.
No wonder also that the latest service offered in Concierge Services is hotels adding a “Retail Therapist,” to their Guest Services.
“Shopping has become a big part of a travel experience,” said Joe Schwingler, general manager, EPIC. “People want to feel a connection with the city they’re traveling to and certainly, walking and exploring around from store to store gives visitors that feeling.”
Kimpton’s “Retail Therapists” are employees of the hotels and longtime residents of the city with self-proclaimed credentials in savvy shopping. Advice is complimentary and available to all who inquire either by email in advance of a stay, or in person at the hotel, according to a news release.
Kimpton already has such specialists in place at hotels in Chicago, Miami and New York City, among others.
Amelia Concierges has been offering this service from its inception, as shopping in the various categories of needs and wants requires some knowledge of what is available on Amelia Island, the Mainland Nassau County area and the Metropolitan Jacksonville area.
